Pet Portrait Sessions
How exciting! You are in for a real treat by having a pet portrait session. As you can imagine they can go in so many different directions. So here are a few things to think about and bring with you to make the most from your session.
We will start the session with just your pet. It gives them a chance to settle into being photographed. This can sometimes take a little time, so don't worry. We try to get a series of photographs of some close-ups and some full lengths. At this point treats can come in really useful, especially if they are treat orientated.
If you want to be involved, we include family time with your pet. Come prepared in an outfit for your session. Think about your colour Palette for everyone involved... it's a good idea to co-ordinate colours. You don't all have to wear the same colour but think of colours that work together. eg Blues, white and greys. If there is time in a session you may be able to do an outfit change, so bring along a second option.
We can include props in your Pet session. We have a range of baskets, boxes and tubs to put your precious pet in. It can also we be a good way to keep them in one place.
Things to bring...
- TREATS are a must. Whatever your pet may love, bring plenty of them.
- TOYS can also help. Something to focus on or even just for a bit of playtime.
- We have water for your pet if needed during the session especially on hot days.
- BRUSH, depending on your pet, sometimes a brush can be useful to keep them looking smart.
I hope this helps you prepare for your session. We look forward to welcoming you to our studio to create some beautiful and unique portraits of your and your pet.
