What to Dress your Toddler In?
For babies between the ages of 11 to 20 months whether they are just sitting, standing or even running around, this is a great opportunity to create beautiful pieces of artwork. We suggest elegant, timeless and simple clothing. Trousers with braces. Dungarees. Little dresses or romper suits.
During your time with us we often use two to three different backdrops to photograph your Toddler on. We have a range of colours to suit most colour palettes and we will help you choose the colours that will best compliment your toddler and the clothing you bring.
We also have many props, including baskets, chairs and boxes which will give your little one something to focus on and use for stability if they are able to stand but not quite walk.?
During these sitter sessions it's always great time to get some family portraits... so come prepared in an outfit so you can join in. If you are not sure what to wear, our best tips and advice would be keep it simple.
- Plain is always simple and classic.
- Try to avoid big Logos on t-shirts and too many patterns and stripes.?
- Keep the colour palette similar for everybody.
- You don't all have to wear the same colour but complimenting colours work well together: eg Blues, white and greys... each person can wear a different colour but they all work together.

Your Session To Do List?
- Make sure your toddler is dressed in their first outfit ready to be photographed.
- Please bring two - three outfits for toddler. We may not use all of them, however it's great to have lots of choice.
- For brothers and sisters of your baby we suggest bringing an outfit for them.
- Bring a hair brush for baby and children as their hair can get a bit messy during the session.
- Your session will last an hour and you may need to feed baby during the session so please remember to bring some easy food and a snack for baby's siblings if they are going to be part of the portrait session.
- Parents should come ready for their portraits, however we do have changing facilities.
- There is a lot of electronic equipment in the studio so we ask parents, NOT to allow sibling children to run around and move equipment without the photographers permission.
