As an independent Boutique Portrait Studio we like to offer our clients unique products for their homes. We believe that most people want beautiful and elegant Fine Art Products adorning their homes.

This is why we have created this totally unique Fine Art Framed Print. There is no other like this anywhere. Every Portrait is printed onto luxurious Museum Cotton Paper, the same paper used by the great Water-Colour Artist of by-gone years. Each portrait is then hand torn to create a beautiful texture and bespoke artist style to the edges of the paper. 

To make this Portrait totally unique to you we hand paint every torn edge with a complimentary water colour to uniquely embellish your portrait photography. Your finished Fine Art Portrait is mount so that it sits proud of a natural fibre Hessian backdrop, which adds texture and depth to your artwork. The print is finally mounted and framed in a choice of hand-made frames from our British frame maker.

This is our reception and viewing area. As we are not a volume portrait photography studio everything is by appointment only. This means you and your family will have the whole studio to yourselves throughout your time with us. Whether that's for your Baby Photography or your theatre viewing of your Portraits.

We have a beautiful gallery of framed photographs and canvas prints which you can view before your decide what Fine Art you would like to grace the walls of your homes. We can also show you your photographs on the walls of your home using our Home-Art-Creator.

We want your experience at Studio27 to be relaxed and throughly enjoyable. Every portrait photography session starts with a Commissioning Moment. We want to know exactly what you have in mind. What is the photographic outcome you desire. In the case of Newborn Photography we wave a huge range of props and backdrops. So we use this Commission time to co-ordinate the colours of the props and backdrops to work within your homes colour palette.

We also have albums you can look through to direct us on the style of photography and the kind of finish you are wanting for your photography. This Commissioning is so crucial. It helps us to understand your desires. So for example, what kind of Maternity Photography do you want? silhouettes, half-lit portraits, couple-photography, skin-to-skin and so much more.

Then its into the studio and photographic area. We have a dedicated make-up and changing facilities in the studio. Again this has been designed so you can relax and get the maximum from your portrait photography session. 

We pride ourselves on not rushing your session. If we want you to be  relaxed, to make your experience joyful, that way we are going to get the most beautiful and timeless portrait photography. So you see its in our best interest, as much as your's to make your time with us at Studio27 totally rewarding.

Best of all Worlds

Here are some of the wonderful highlights from Faye & Aaron's studio & location Portrait Photography session. Our studio is located in the tiny village of 'Griffithstown' which is on the outskirts of Cwmbran in Torfaen, South Wales. 

We started Faye & Aaron's portrait photography session in the studio. We taught them a few tips and tricks on how to look totally natural on camera. And I have to say they took to being photographed really quickly. 

Most couples haven't had professional portrait photography before, so we pride ourselves on couples saying how much they enjoyed their session. In fact we are happy to spend as much time with couples as they need to help them to get the most from their portrait photography session and to make it a happy and joyful occasion.

After sometime in the studio we then venture outside into the gorgeous countryside which surrounds our photographic studio. We are blessed to have lots of amazing countryside which changes with the seasons and so provides a very natural and beautiful backdrop for couples portrait photography.

Session can last unto three hours and we can create between 30 and 40 fine art, hand finished portraits for you to choose from to frame for your home. We have a wide range of stunning Italian Portrait Albums for those who would like a complete memory of their time with us.
